Back from Melbourne, gee What a weekend and Tuesday it was, 110 thousand People rocked up for cup day in flamingtion. The weather was better than what I expected still rained those also rained right on the eve of the big race too. I went down after cricket Saturday night for A friend's 40th birthday trip down there, Saturday Night Went to Melbourne deaf club for super coach Party It was a great way to catch up with all the boys who are involved in cricket and the super coach Program too I did have a few relaxing drinks after a day we almost up stage Randwick and after the game I told the boys that we were a better team than what they are so I needed a nice Drink after been so so Close.

Monday I had a meeting with Channel 7 studio in melbourne, With Paul Richardson, He show me around the Studio gee never seen anything like it there were computer,tv, people everywhere even old tapes he even show me the tape when I was on Minute to Win it gee they even got old tapes from Melbourne Olympics 1956 another thing I never seen in my live is so many km of Cable enough to do Melbourne to Darwin I rec-ken. Meeting went well and smoothly which was I expected anyhow.

Cup Day there were so many people there and colour what an amazing day, guess your all waiting for to see how I went on the racers :) I hope you all had a great day too and backed a winner Like I did :) Almost to the end of 60seconds with watto. Well another busy week for Watto with Cricket, On personal front and making a Speech at the National Deafness forum AGM last Friday night in the City (Sydney) I went in style all suited up and arrived in my Seymour she is still going like a dream and running smoothly. Speech at the AGM was more of relaxed approach compared to the Captioning award Night then I got up then the nerves hit in so there was a Pause then I was fine after that sticking to my task's. I was pleased with the outcome out of my speech. Saturday was an important day for the club to win after a mixed results last weekend so we cleaned sweep all grade's. I had my first win on Saturday was a nice feeling to leave the ground on a winning note and ready for Randwick at coogee on Saturday for the one dayer, which is 50overs each per side. Saturday Night deaf Rugby had a game at Sylvania they also had a good win too, it was a Nice feeling to see the club house full of deaf people with all having a laugh or a smile on their faces, I enjoy the night even more after the event gee it was a late one :). On Sunday Had to go to SCG visit NSW HQ same time the Sri Lankian team were playing NSW I had a chance to watch them train up and close even better when I bump into one of Queensland immortal cricketing great Stuart Law I was able to have a good chat with him was a nicer feeling that he recalled me too. I will head down to Melbourne for the Cup :) will be down on Saturday Night to Wednesday I am looking forward to it a break and it's a friend of my 40th birthday so I better go and pick up my suit from the dry cleaners looking fresh and sharp for the 150 years Melbourne cup. Hi all, another fine spring day outside

Here is another 60seconds with Watto, I had a wonderful weekend even those it was blowing gale in our first grade match against Campbelltown at old Kings which is our home ground beside the Parramatta League club. I had a aim for the our team on the morning is to bat all day which have not been done for a long time, I won the toss and elected to Bat. By the end of the day we had 340 on the board which is a confident score to score our first win of the season so it's in the bowler/fielders hands for next Saturday to finish off Campbelltown. Quick summaries on the scores we had Sean Abbott in the side from state duty made quick fire 59 then Sean had his debut game vs WA the next day I went and had a Look and wish him well, I am proud to have such a quality player in my side, don't forget this guy is only 18 In the same game returning from injuries was Brett Lee. Also one of ours openers got 53 Batted well and set the tone for the day, Guess you all wondering how I went Well scored my 2nd ton of this season as captain but this is my first as the other one was in trial game. Today I am feeling stiff as a log lol I finished up with 132 with 2 sixes even one of them that brought up my Ton.

Well this Week I have few interesting things to do, one is to make a speech at the AGM for national deafness forum in the city Friday night, Saturday finish 2nd day of the game vs Campbelltown, Saturday Night after the game the national rugby Union for the Deaf at Sylvania so I will go and support the deaf rugby and then on Sunday will maybe take Seymour for a spin around could even take her to a car show and show her off smile. Been a Hectic couple weeks, Playing cricket and same time skippering the side it's has been some mix results three game with out a win so we the boys have some work to do, I have been enjoying the leadership would be a nicer feeling to have some wins on the board its only around the corner I keep reminding myself we have the talent so its not too far away. I hope you like the back ground Picture of my new mustang maybe I should say its old :) Seymour I call her she is running beautifully as Nice as Lauren Hay does. Lauren has been my backbone for me for the last 5 years now I can't thank her enough she has been priceless supporter of my, they say if you achieve amazing things you must have good people around you so most of the credit should belong to Lauren, so once again Thank you.

I was in Bowral on Sunday home of Don Bradman for the green shield game vs Penrith to play for the lou Benaud cup The father of Richie Benaud It was a wonderful day even better the boys got up and they all played well they all played a part of this wonderful win over Penrith it's nice feeling to take some light away from 1st grade as I said earlier results will come. I really enjoy the day and Coaching the side The smile on the kids faces are priceless when results come to each one of them So i wish them all the best for coming season.

Hello

Saturday morning of my first game for this season, A trial/friendly game at Blacktown as we played them away. They are a very improved outfit and we had few players out so was a good/testing game for us. They batted first got a good score of 253 which they thought was a hard score I thought they would be very pleased with that as I predicted 225 would be Par score. I opened the batting and we were 2 for30 then the next wicket fall at 203 into the 29th over Sean Abbott was out for 111 the first hundred for the 18 year old, the best ton I seen for ball striking in first grade for a while, the Kid can Play so a solid start for him so I hope from a Captain point of view he is hungry for more success I was pleased I could be at the other end batting with him. I hit the winning runs with 8 over to spare I finished with 103 not out. Looking forward to next week Bankstown at

first games

Hi All

Here another 60 seconds with Watto, times starts now. Well been an very interesting pass week from cricket training, horse's racers and selecting the Green Shield side which is the u/16's Parramatta side, And everyone is waiting for and wanting to know what kind of car I brought some already know and some don't. I put deposit on it 3 weeks ago and drove it for the first time last Friday wow what an enjoyment and a highlight for sure. I and my Family always have been a Holden Fan and I am still a Holden Man even those I brought my first ford gee that was tough to announce see down the bottom what kind of Ford. Saturday afternoon at the racers was great time wasn't looking good, lost the first 4 racers and then the last race had a win you beauy so I broke even left with the Boys as they headed out and I bailed on them and went home to put the my Mustang in the Lock up garage. Well its out now It a 1966 ford Mustang GT to go with it too smile I will have to put a photo on this site for everyone to see it. Cricket season is starting up or should I say it has Started The boys at Parramatta are building up beautifully for the first game which is 2 weeks away, Saturday the 25th at Bankstown oval, on a personal Note I am keeping it simple and hitting a lot of balls at training and few meeting along the way, this week I will have to name my side which I very much looking forward to. Yes Yes it all cricket so far on the social side The boys are attending the racers at Rosehill this Saturday which I will go a mate birthday so will be taking it easy, I hope the boys will do the same but same time have fun. Work Is travelling pretty well On the coaching front will have to select 15 players next week and some quality train on too this is for the under 16 green shield side which team? again my beloved Parramatta team. Still on work but in a different environment Hands On Garden had a busy week doing a garden in Berowra one of my favourate garden I created 2 years ago should get some pictures to show you lol nah keep my head in check for now lol. Captaining / Captioning Awards

Hi everyone here is another 60seconds with watto ,

It has been a busy pass couple weeks since touching back home down under and now fully recovered from the Jet Lag, it took me a good week to get back on track.

A huge announcement I want to share with you, a week ago I was given the honour of captaining for Parramatta Cricket First Grade team which I am over the moon with the out come. So I do believe in hard work does pay off and doing well at the same time. Now I getting the job is one thing and doing well is another thing so I am keeping level headed and looking forward to take Parramatta forward to the best of my ability.

Other major news I was thrown in the deep end last night I had to make a speech at National Captioning Awards which I knew I had to do a speech, no worries I thought because of my pass experiences, quick speech will do it like 30secs. Yeah yeah no dramas cool. Then 24 hours I found out that I have to do 5 mins speech, I said to myself what I going to do? Fall over on the steps on the way up and do a hemmy? I recall saying to someone I going to break a leg and she thought falling over the stairs and I said no I am going to nail it and give it my best shot (break a leg that way) Now you have to wait for the results right.......................well here it is we have to go to add break maybe you can check my blog over next couple of days.

Nah I will tell you now I had a fantastic time on stage and a wonderful night full credit to deafness forum and all the sponsors on the night, also cant forget all the people who contributed to Deaf and hearing impaired community.

home sweet home

Hi All

Day after touching down back home in Sydney after a wonderful holiday's recap on the road trip to Scotland. We hired a car for the road trip and it was a great idea to catch up quality time with friends and wind down too at the same time. Newcastle on the Monday Night and St Andrew's Tuesday and Wednesday to watch the world deaf Golf it was incredible sights and the golf was equal to the task. We went to Edinburgh for two nights Edinburgh is a amazing part of the world this and Las Vegas were my highlights of my trip. Flight home were Edinburgh to London, London to Munich, Munich to Bangkok then last Leg Bangkok to Sydney yeah now at home chilling out and recovering from jet lag hopefully a speedy one, whats next for watto that was another 60 seconds with Nick

RoadTrip to Scotland starting Saturday Night

Still here In Bristol and still enjoying it here very chilled out town even nicer down the road called Bath went there yesterday for half a day walked around checked out the roman Bath and had a full english breakfest which is always Nice. Road trip starts tmw we will head up the m 1 then m6 onto scotland with couple stop overs in Milton Keynes up to Sheffield then one more stop over before Scotland which is the Toon Newcastle. Scotland which is hosting the world deaf golf championship in St Andrew we pretty much looking forward to meet new people and friends and more importantly watch some quilty golf too. The three Stefan, Andrew and myself are heading north. Before I sign out, Watto had his 1st vindaloo curry it was hot I was pleased and passed the test with a few sweats to go with it. Road trip country England

Hi all coming from the lovely country side of Bristol in England. We have hired a car for the duration of this trip in England till mid August. Thursday went to wales to catch up with old friends from my club while they were on tour. In somerset yesterday to check out Tauntion town and the somerset cricket club. The highway's here are so much quicker some cars travel 100miles per hour mark that wasnt me. Today chilling out in Bristol maybe shopping on the cards and watch Brother play cricket today.

Parties in Vegas

Hi everybody

Here another 60second with Watto this time a bit of down time and chilling out also recovering from quick dash to crazy Las Vegas. Where Watto doing this recovery ? Here at my 2nd home here in England catching up with friends and brother Andy managed to catch up on a lot of sleep where I didnt get much at all In Vegas. What People do in Vegas Is drink/party/play sleeping is not an option I was also lucky enough to attend world expo for the deaf which about 30 thousand people attended during week also they have picked a miss world for the deaf which was won by lady from France and followed by Belgium at third place was miss South African where was Miss Australia ?? After 4 nights in Vegas was time to head to London three different airports and 18hours later I was in the heart of London having a welcome beers was very nice that friends were there to welcome me it was a great night the weather here in London has been wonderful the next day everyone said I brought the rain end of the day on day 2 of the England Leg of my 4 weeks holiday with some help of channel 7 prize
